Discover Dorset is re-launching its airport shuttle service in April in response to the increase in air traffic at Bournemouth Airport – and will now include a stop at the Aviation Business Park.
This is the first time the business park will have had a regular bus service and is in recognition that this is Bournemouth's biggest and fastest growing industrial zone.
The bus service, between Bournemouth and the airport at Hurn, was cut to six hours a day in the winter but is now going back to 12 hours a day.
The new service, which comes into effect on April 4, has changed its route slightly to offer a more efficient, robust service and cuts out the West Cliff loop.
The shuttle will run 13 times a day, from 7am to 7pm taking in stops at The Square, Lansdowne, Bournemouth Station and Bournemouth airport, with stops at the Aviation Business Park twice in the morning, twice at lunch-time and twice at tea-time.
The service will run hourly from 7am from Bournemouth station, whilst the first bus to leave the airport will be 7.30 hourly until 6.30pm.
